Think before you buy an underground tank

Are you in need of a water tank? Are you thinking of buying an underground tank? That is good because I always suggest people to think a lot before buying an underground tank. This is because underground tanks are not easy to handle. They are too expensive. Importantly, underground tanks are not made for home owners. Being a home owner, if you are about to buy an underground tank, you need to think over it a lot and go for it only if you are sure that there is no better and other choice than an underground tank. Otherwise, you need to buy either an indoor or an outdoor water tank.

I got a great idea for my front yard from a commercial.

Now that the summer season is upon us I wanted to spruce up my front yard a bit. A commercial from a orlando production company told me about this  one garden center that is having a grand opening. I thought that place would be a good place to start to find different plants and flowers to decorate my front yard with. When I got there I found so many great ideas and found good prices on plants and outdoor decoration too. Now my front yard looks so incredible that it looks like a professional landscaper came in and redone my whole front yard.

New Orleans style continued

there are so many great New Orleans style drummers that practice advanced drumming techniques.  in our last article we talked about Warren Beatty dodds.

to continue on with that basic drum lessons,  jazz was developing along a different path in New Orleans, guided in large part by 2 influential brothers. These drummers were Paul Barbarin ran and Lewis  barbarin.   born into a musical family,, Louis Armstrong, and Fat’s pinchon.   Paul was also the leader is own group and was widely recorded along with a lot of greats of the time. His career spanned almost 7 decades. The 2 brothers worked on the city’s parades and dance halls, creating a reservoir of traditional styles from which many up-and-coming drummers drew inspiration.

Back when I was a young drummer taking beginner drum lessons.   I knew nothing about this style. I loved a lot of great rock drummers, but jazz was something that was kind of lost on me.   later in my career I begin to study. But it wasn’t until recently that I really began studying the New Orleans style of drumming. This am a great drummers to draw from. I love looking into the history and the sounds that some of these drummers were creating. For those you follow my blog I deftly hope this is something you check out for yourself. In the next morning continue on with a look at a few more great New Orleans jazz drummers and a style that was born right here in United States of America.

Lost History: Outlaws of the West

The  West is an inspiring landscape. and even though its reputation as rugged frontier has been tamed by modern conveniences and technology, it’s easy to imagine how America’s cowboy outlaws once patrolled such a wild, desolate place. A few notable outlaws –Jesse James, Billy the Kid, Butch Cassisdy –endure in the public imagination, but many more, whose stories are just as colorful, have been forgotten.

Sam Bass, like so many outlaws, began his working life as a well-intentioned young man. But, after working for a year as a cattle hand, Bass became disillusioned with honest work and turned to theft. Bass and another roughneck, Joel Collins, robbed seven stagecoaches before deciding that the profit margins were too slim. The two decided to go after the Union Pacific gold train, and made off with more than sixty thousand dollars, an inconceivable fortune at the time and one of the largest train heights ever when adjusted for inflation.

Outlaws weren’t all men, either. A well-to-do young woman named Maybelle Shirley became well known among Missouri robbers for her willingness to provide a hideout after heists, and many called her “The Bandit Queen”. She and her first husband turned to a life of full-time thievery after his a series of financial missteps on his part. After her husband was killed in a getaway attempt,  she married  horse thief Sam Starr and the two executed dozens of heists before “Belle” was shot in the back by an unknown killer in 1889.

For many outlaws a life shrouded in the unknown was the norm. Ray Tibbetts, a Utah native, spent a normal childhood with his father, Bill. The two went to Moab restaurants, played together, and enjoyed a standard family life. It wasn’t until after his father’s passing that Ray uncovered a series of newspaper articles, and discovered that his dad, Bill Tibetts actually lived the early years of his life as a prolific horse thief and cattle rustler.

Even while so many of these outlaws have slipped into the cracks of history, the mystique of their lives continues to intrigue and excite us, and one need only to visit the West to feel a sense of their adventure.

A Call to Remember

My grandmother came to visit me and decided she was going to catch a bus to my house. I told her that I would pick her up but my grandmother being the independent woman that she is waned to get there by herself. She finally called me after three hours of standing in the middle of nowhere. She was located at The Westwood so I drove right over to pick her up. She was in my car and said that she will never catch the bus again and that being lost is the worst feeling that she ever had.
