I haven’t disappeared, I promise! I have been UBER busy this holiday season but I promise some great recipes, some photos of the results as well as some witty banter, and very soon!

I googled “order cupcakes” and there it was. In all its beauty. Thank you Godaddy.com and Google Adwords.

Yea! The cupcakes were a smashing success. No, seriously, I saw a kid smash two into his face because he couldn’t get them into his mouth fast enough. Adults were stealing them from each other! Hooray, my cupcakes were so good, they caused random acts of adult immaturity!
I ended up making just shy of 6 dozen. Whew!

I am about to dive in to baking this morning. 2 dozen cherry vanilla, cherry filled, fresh cherry buttercream frosted cupcakes.
I will definitely have to taste test these!!
I am using a basic homemade vanilla cake recipe and adding maraschino cherry juice and chopped maraschino cherries to the batter.
Then, I am going to fill them with pureed Comstock Country Cherry filling.
For the frosting, I am making homemade vanilla buttercream but I am dicing some organic sweet cherries and whipping them in.
I am debating on whether or not to top them off with a maraschino cherry halve though, we shall...
