I am about to dive in to baking this morning.  2 dozen cherry vanilla, cherry filled, fresh cherry buttercream frosted cupcakes. I will definitely have to taste test these!! I am using a basic homemade vanilla cake recipe and adding maraschino cherry juice and chopped maraschino cherries to the batter. Then, I am going to fill them with pureed Comstock Country Cherry filling. For the frosting, I am making homemade vanilla buttercream but I am dicing some organic sweet cherries and whipping them in.
