I’m all geared up to make the guitar cake, starting on it tomorrow, thanks to a little help from a fellow baker and blogger – Jen @ She Takes The Cake who suggested I toss the Wilton’s fondant that needed to be dyed pink and find some Satin Ice pre-dyed fondant instead. So with a full tank of gas, I geared up to traverse the GINORMOUS city that is Houston in search of the things I will need. Okay, it was 78 degrees here yesterday, muggy, hot, humid, with scattered showers. Today, it is 34 degrees, light rain and a chance of snow. SNOW? 78 to 34 and SNOW? Welcome to Texas. Holy Lord it is cold outside!
