Win a Cupcake Kit by Baketastic

71st_1000

HOLY SCHNIKES!! I use Twitter quite often, don’t I? But you don’t mind, do you? Well, it seems that little ole’ me has some celebratin’ to do! I joined Twitter in early ’08. Since having joined, Baketastic has almost 1000 followers! I can’t believe so many people want to read what I have to say and see my baking photos! I’ve made some terrific connections for work, found some great clients and networked with about a bazillion bakers, some of whom I get to chit chat with on a regular basis, sharing ideas and baking secrets, too cool. Not to mention the personal friends I’ve started to make – I like Canada and Australia even more now! (wink wink K and A)

I’ve decided that in honor of this obviously auspicious occasion, I am going to do something special. That’s right, Blogland, I’m going to give away some crap.

Like Navin Johnson says, “Take a chance and win some crap!” (If you don’t know who Navin Johnson is, you should Google him, right now, you won’t be sorry you did) Okay, I’m not really going to give away a bunch of crap, but I am going to make a handy dandy cupcake baking kit.

The cupcake baking kit will include: gel frosting dye, decorative cupcake liners, my favorite size piping tip, some fondant – pre colored to match theme, some other surprise goodies and the recipe for one of my cupcakes on a cutsie Baketastic recipe card. You will have all you need to make these cupcakes save for the ingredients! (I hear eggs and milk don’t mail well, who knew?)

Anything chocolate, minus icing. Weird, huh? Just not a big icing fan. The kids are tho! So I have entered, and I fully expect if I win for you to hand-deliver it to me. It’s been too long, chick!

I'm a pretty classic girl: either vanilla with milk chocolate frosting or chocolate with cream cheese frosting. And now I want both but there are no good cupcake places nearby! I also Retweeted: http://twitter.com/weiswomen

Recently I made some vanilla cupcakes with homemade lemon-rosemary frosting and they were pretty great! I love trying new recipes, but at the end of the day the classics are classic for a reason :)

  19. I love a cupcake called Monkey Love. It's a banana cupcake with white chocolate frosting and caramel on top. So good!
